About Lambhowe Caravan & Lodge Park

Lambhowe Caravan Park

A Lake District Gem

Lambhowe Caravan Park is a real Lake District Gem, set amidst the beautiful and tranquil setting of the Lyth Valley, in the Lake District National Park. The picture post card villages of Crosthwaite, Bowland Bridge and Winster are within easy walking distance of Lambhowe, offering peace and tranquillity without isolation. Bowness Bay on the shores of Lake Windermere is only a leisurely ten minute drive through the Winster valley.

Lambhowe was first established as a caravan park in 1962 and was acquired in 1987 by Phil & Lynda Barron who brought with them a wealth of experience in the caravan industry. In 1956 Phil’s parents established Dave Barron Caravans on the Fylde Coast. Phil followed in 1972 with the formation of Kendal Caravans, until transferring the business to the present owners in 1987.

After 40 years Lambhowe are proud to operate as a family business with the 3rd generation now actively involved. We are now able to offer new and used luxury holiday homes on beautiful and individually landscaped pitches and at most affordable prices.

Our friendly team will be delighted to meet you and show you around in a relaxed, friendly and informal manner, where you will never encounter the "hard sell" from commission based Salesmen. This is strictly a family affair!
